The law will end when God dies

The law will end when God dies

John 12:50 And I know that His command is everlasting life.

God is eternal life.  He loves His creation and wants them to enjoy the life He created for them.  God knows the best thing for them, their highest good, is Himself in them.  The only way they can enjoy life is in His presence the only way into God the Father's presence is through the Son.  His presence is the way of life and by staying in His presence, we stay alive.
(Luke 10:22)  All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him."
We receive the Presence of God, as we are born-again from above. (John 3:3)

To leave His presence is to die.  God gives life and life continues as we abide with and in Him. We can understand the boundaries of life by the law. (Romans 7:12)  Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good. The law reflects God’s character.  The law is designed to keep, preserve, shelter, and maintain life.  Outside the law is death, inside the law is life.
(Matthew 7:14)  Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Outlaws are outside the law.  Rebels are outside the law. Witchcraft is rebellion. Outlaws or rebels are earning death as they are in rebellion to the life of Spirit and life.

Deuteronomy  30:20)  that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them."

Hosea 9:17 My God will cast them away, Because they did not obey Him; And they shall be wanderers among the nations.

Deuteronomy 32:46-47 and he said to them: "Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your children to be careful to observe—all the words of this law. For it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life, and by this word you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess."

The bottom line of the law is: do this and live you and your children to the third and fourth generation.  Deuteronomy 28 lists the curses, which have been upon the Hebrews for over three thousand millennium because of one reason and one reason only. Disobedience.  The door to life is marked BELIEVE and OBEY, there is no other way.

When my daughter was young, I would tell her we have rules to keep us safe and happy.  Obedience preserves us, disobedience brought reprove and correction.

My sheep hear my voice. (John 10:27)  (Matthew 12:50)  For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."

Isaiah 48:16-18 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His Spirit Have sent Me." Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.  Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

John 6:63   The Spirit gives life the flesh counts for nothing, my words are Spirit and they are life. The Law does not give life but all life proceeds from the Spirit (eternal life) who gives us both life and the Law. And preserves us as we live within the boundaries of the law..

As we abide in God's commandments, they keep us in His Presence.  His Presence is life.  His Presence preserves us.

Exodus 33:14-16 And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."   Then he (Moses) said to Him, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.  For how then will it be known that Your people and I hand I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth." God created the Hebrew people to reveal Himself to humanity and through the Ten Commandments to make humanity know how they must come into God's presence.

1Jn 2:17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Mat 5:17-18 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill.  For assuredly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law until all is fulfilled. The heaven and earth, which passed away, was the Jewish age.  The end of that age was predicted by Ezekiel with particular emphasis on where God is speaking and says 'I will” seven times.

Ezekiel 36:26-28  Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.  I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.  I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them

Two thousand years ago the new heavens and new earth were inaugurated.   Hebrew 12:24-28, Rev 21:1-3.  Brought into existence at the appointed time, a new age, filled with a new heaven, a new earth a new creation, a new humanity, a new Jerusalem with a new temple, the church.

Christians are the Word made flesh in every generation.  Christians are God's presence on the earth.  Not by men will but by God's will.  His purpose was His presence in them.  His Bride with His children.  His dwelling place inside them giving them the desire and the ability to do His will, to abide in His Presence. Thus receiving glory from them and renewing the earth with His holy presence. Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Deuteronomy 32:45-47 Moses finished speaking all these words to all Israel, and he said to them: "Set your hearts on all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your children to be careful to observe—all the words of this law. For it is not a futile thing for you, because it is your life, and by this word you shall prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to possess."

Deuteronomy 30:19-20  I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;  that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.

John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.

To cling to God is to abide in God. To abide in God is to obey His commandments.  John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.

God reveals Himself to those who cling to Him who walk in the light just as He is light.  The Presence of God in us gives us the desire and the ability to obey Him.  His law is not a burden rather it is a delight because where He is His law is. His law is life.

Proverb 13:15 Good understanding gives favor; But the way of the transgressor is hard.

Mat 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Psalms 36:7-9 How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.  For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.

Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

1Samuel 15:22-23  So Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king

Psalms 40:8 I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart."

Psalms 119:47 And I will delight myself in Your commandments, Which I love.

Psalms 119:77 Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; For Your law is my delight.

Psalms 119:89 Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.

Psalms 119:92-93 Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction. I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life
(Romans 8:2)  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Rev 22:14 blessed are those who do His commandments that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
The law is an expression of God's holy nature, giving us the law keeping those who abide with Him safe and happy.
Deuteronomy 29:29 the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do (obey) all the words of this law.
Who alone can give life? The Father and the Son. Where is the Father? In heaven. How can I get the father and son can give life because they are life.
God knows the best thing for humanity is Himself who is alone eternal life. Man can only enjoy all God would have for him only by dwelling in His presence. We remain in His presence only by obedience. God who is eternal life alone gives life by His words. His words are spirit and life.
( Psalms 119:105)  Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path
(Proverbs 6:23)  For the commandment is a lamp, And the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the love of sin and death.
God’s law keep us safe and eternally happy in His presence.

Left behind for a purpose

Left Behind for a Purpose

Do the prayers of Jesus Christ refute our modern day Christian escapism called ‘left behind’?
(Isa 55:11)  So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
God’s spoken words always accomplish their intended purpose as Genesis testifies in the six days of creation.  God spoke creation followed.
Rapture theology is the notion that there is a future circumstance coming which are so horrible that Christians will be taken from the earth to avoid the unpleasantness which follows. Everyone ‘left behind’ on the earth will have to suffer. Tough nuts.
Jesus spoke two major prayers in the New Testament, which I believe will refute that idea.  In (Matthew 6:9-10), In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In this prayer, known as the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus (who is God) is praying for the Kingdom of God to come to earth.  God Word is God’s will. God’s will and word cannot help being accomplished:  Heaven coming to earth. Therefore, if Isaiah 55:11 is true the Kingdom of God is coming to earth.
In other passages, He said it would grow like a mustard seed until it did cover the earth.  God’s plan for the future is Habakkuk 2:14 for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
The spoken word, which will be accomplished, and is being accomplished, is God’s kingdom coming, not God’s people going.
(Joh 17:15-18)  I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. (Avoiding the evil one is the reason we are left behind) They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth. As you sent In the Garden of Gethsemane, the night before Jesus was crucified, He prayed that his disciples would be sent into the world and be kept from the evil one. As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

Jesus followers then and now are sent into the world not promised to be taken from the world.  This is the exact opposite of the ‘left behind’ fantasies. The purpose we are left behind is to advance the Kingdom of God with the only power available to save Mens’ souls, the Gospel.

In the world not OF the world

In the world not of the world

What was in Jesus Christ?  that God was in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19) Father-God, eternal life: holy, clean, without spot or blemish, perfection and purity.
Just as the Father was in the Son so the Son is in the Christian (Philippians 1:19, 1 Corinthians 5:4) providing us with the same nature, presence, purpose and power which was in Christ Jesus on the earth. Thus born-again Christians are ‘in the world but not of the world’. Christians are in the world as Christ’s body, His bride, the New Jerusalem on God’s holy hill, living stones, the temple of God, invisible from heaven, visible on the earth.
‘In the world’ means being physically present, but ‘of the world’ means no longer being a flesh-Adam but a spiritual man, born-again from above (John 3:3) in Christ.
(2 Corinthians 5:17)  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
(1 John 4:17b) because as He is, so are we in this world.
(1 Peter 2:5) you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

(2 Peter 1:4) by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Five gifts God gave us

Five Gifts God gave us.

Five things God did for us we could not do for ourselves.
John 3:27 John (the Baptist) answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.

1.   GIFT OF LIFE Ephesians 1:3-6  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
God knew you before your mama and papa knew you.  God knew you before you knew yourself. You have nothing to do with the fact that you were born, where you were born or why you were born. We are all passive actors in the process of physical birth.
Life is a gift from God. Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you;" Your science teacher may tell you that life is formed from the mating of a sperm and egg. However, the Bible says:
Job 10:8-11 ‘Your hands have made me and fashioned me, an intricate unity; Yet You would destroy me. Remember, I pray, that you have made me like clay. And will you turn me into dust again? Did you not pour me out like milk, and curdle me like cheese, clothe me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews?  Whom are you going to believe, the Word of God or your science teacher?

2.   GIFT OF BREATH   Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
The breath of life is the gift of life and it comes from the hand of He who is eternal life.  God can take it away at any time and will take it away at His appointed time, as each of us must go the way of all flesh.
Your science teacher may tell you the process of respiration is an autonomic process but the Bible says: Job 12:10 In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all humankind.
Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Job 34:14-15 If He should set His heart on it, If He should gather to Himself His Spirit and His breath, all flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust.
In the book of Daniel Chapter 5: Dan 5:23b; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.
In the verse, Daniel is telling the king, that God hold our breath and the breath of all living creatures, in the palm of His hand. Every breath is a gift from Him.
Your science teach may tell you the process of respiration is an autonomic process but the Bible say in Job 12:10  In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?
Whom are you going to believe, your science teacher or the Word of God?
GIFT OF THE GOSPEL Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew

God and man reconciled through the blood of the Lamb

Some Christians teach that the restoration of Eden is God’s ultimate goal for His redeemed. Can that be true?  According to this chart there are significant differences between the anticipated New Heavens/New Earth and Eden.

To begin with Eden was a specific place on the earth.  Habakkuk 2:17 says the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. This scripture implies New Heavens and New Earth will be universal not local.
Sin was present in Eden according to God’s plan.  There is no sin in heaven or the new earth because it is all holy ground. There is no possibility of sin because there is not flesh in the NH/NE.

Eden had flesh. 1Co 15:50  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
In Matthew 13 mustard seed would eventually cover the whole earth. The whole earth will be filled with the glory of God just as heaven has been eternally filled.

As He is so are we in this world

…as He is so are we in this world.  1 John 4:17
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten Father, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14
JESUS                                             CHURCH

Anointed (Luke 4:18)  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
(2Co 1:21-22)  Now he who established us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who has also sealed us, and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
Appointed (Hebrews 1:2)  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
(Act 13:48)  Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord. And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

Baptism (Mat 3:16)  When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
(Mat 28:19)  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Born (Matthew 2:1)  Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,
(Job 31:15)  Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?
Born-again (1Peter 1:23)  having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

Called (Matthew 2:15)  and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, "OUT OF EGYPT I CALLED MY SON."
(Rom 8:28)  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Eternal life (John 5:26)  For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,
(John 17:3)  And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Father (Matthew 6:9)  In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
(Matthew)_5:45  that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

I have been raptured, you've been left behind

I’ve been raptured, you’ve been left behind.
For the past 150 years or so millions of Christians have gone to the grave disappointed. Millions of contemporary Christians are on their way to the grave following their spiritual fathers in disappointment that they were not raptured.
The rapture is the end time notion that society is a living in the last days. The last days characterize the end of time when the anti-Christ, or the man of lawlessness will enslave the whole earth, causing the Christian church, to be physically removed to heaven while those left behind will suffer the pains of totalitarism before Christ returns.
Millions of Christian are anticipating the end of society, hoping they will be spared from the ‘wrath to come’ standing around sky gazing, waiting for something to happen…the end of the world. They hope to be ‘raptured’ which is the misguided notion that when hard times come they will be lifted up into heavenly space thus avoiding the wrath of the antichrist or man of lawlessness destined to enslave the whole world.
The wrath to come mentioned by Jesus Christ in Scripture was the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. Jesus also mentioned that that event would be the worst the world would ever experience. If Jesus prophetic words are true, which they are, the worst that will ever happen on earth is behind us, past tense, ancient history, and Christians were delivered from the wrath to come by fleeing to the mountains from Jerusalem.
I believe the word, rapture, is a synonym, for the born-again experience. John 3:3 “You must be born again.”  Other words are used to describe the same event, the personal salvation which happens to every Christian, indeed, the event which makes them a Christian, the Spirit of Christ put inside them.
1Corinthians 6:14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 8:11  But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through who His Spirit dwells in you.
Ephesians 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
1Thessalonians_4:17 Then we who are alive a
